- Film clearly Aim for about 90 seconds or longer. Hold the phone steady, shoot landscape when you can, and capture what’s happening — not just a blurry selfie.
- Note the facts Include location, date/time, and a short description of what viewers are seeing. Names of public officials at public meetings are fine; be careful with private individuals and unverified claims.
- Email Danny Send video, photos, and your notes to danny@anycountynews.com. Large files? Use a cloud link in the email if attachments bounce.
- We review Not every tip becomes a story. We may follow up for context. Stay safe, stay legal, and respect private property and court rules.
What makes a useful tip
- Public meetings, community events, and visible local issues
- Clear audio when speakers are addressing the public
- Context: who / what / where / when in a few sentences
- Your contact info if you’re okay with a follow-up email
Please don’t
- Put yourself or others in danger to get a clip
- Trespass or interfere with emergency responders
- Send unverified accusations as if they were proven facts
- Expect ACN to publish every submission
