MACON, Ga. — A 21-year-old man died after a shooting on Pio Nono Avenue Sunday afternoon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and local reporting.
Deputies responded to the 2300 block of Pio Nono Avenue after a call to Macon-Bibb E-911 just before 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026. Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones said the man was shot in a car and was pronounced dead at the Atrium Health Navicent emergency room at 3:16 p.m.
Jones identified the victim as Jeremiah Quantez McCrary, 21. The shooting remains under investigation.
